Tuesday- Taormina and Giardini Naxos= The Ancient

Theatre, the Odeon the  navmachiae (ship battles) of the

Roman Age, the Cathedral , the traditional shops and the

narrow streets are only some of the beauties of Taormina. It

will be possible to bathe at Giardini Naxos.

Wednesday- Seaside

Thursday - Riviera dei Ciclopi + Catania= We will

be visiting Acitrezza, Lachea Island and the Faraglioni ,

Acicastello with its Norman  castle and then the city of

Catania. It will be a wonderful afternoon, spent walking

along the streets of the historic centre of Catania, rich in

buildings and churches from the Age of Baroque

Friday - Mount Etna=  Mount Etna is the highest

active volcano in Europe and ranks among the biggest on

Earth. We will be taking a walk in the wonderful woods of

Mount Etna, with their chestnut trees and all the local

plant species which make the volcano so colourful during

every season of the year.

Saturday  -Gole dell'Alcantara + Seaside : The flow of

the Alcantara river created marvellous goerges, named

“Gole dell'Ancantara”  on the lavic soil of its

riverbed. This can be considered as a real temple of nature.
